Before your trip
In 15 minutes: create a trip with dates, location, currency and budget; set categories; test OCR / batch scan (up to 10); try CSV/Excel export or a JSON backup. Free plan includes 30 scans. Premium unlocks PDF and accounting formats (FEC, Pennylane, QuickBooks, Xero, DATEV…).

How do backups work?
Settings → Data: export a lightweight JSON backup free, or a full ZIP with receipt images on Premium. Restore when changing phones.
How does receipt OCR work?
Scanner tab: photograph one receipt or queue up to 10. Amount, date, merchant, VAT and category are read on device. Review fields, then save to the active trip.
What is a trip (mission)?
A trip has dates, place, currency and planned budget. Attach every receipt; the report shows total spend, budget ring, VAT and category breakdown.
How do expense notes work?
Generate a note from a trip, then move draft → submitted → approved / rejected with an optional manager comment.
Which export formats are available?
Free: CSV and Excel. Premium: PDF, FEC, Pennylane, QuickBooks, Xero, DATEV, Sage, Wave, FreshBooks. Exports are files you share yourself — nothing is uploaded to PikScan.
Does the app work without internet?
Yes. Capture, storage, notes and export run offline in local SQLite. No account required.
How many free scans?
30 scans on the free plan. Premium: unlimited.
How do I upgrade to Premium or restore a purchase?
Settings → Upgrade. Use “Restore purchases” after changing devices. Billing is handled by Apple or Google.
Is my data sent to PikScan?
No. Trips, receipts and notes stay on your phone. We have no cloud copy.
Biometric lock?
Optional Face ID / fingerprint / device passcode when returning to the app.
Which languages?
French, English, German and Spanish.

Collection & privacy
Collected cards often end up piled in the office, qualified weeks later. PikScan structures everything on the show floor: scan, document scanner, hot/warm/cold qualification, voice notes, voice-to-text (iPhone) and supplier catalogs: local data, nothing on our servers.
